[FR] Mauvais Sang est une collision entre le son saturé des guitares (Mathis Saunier) et de la basse (Louis Dégrois) qui osent tout, la majesté de la harpe (Anouck Bizon), soutenue par une batterie sous tension (Antoine Vercellotti) et relevée d’une voix poétique tantôt scandée, tantôt d’une douceur onirique (Léo Simond). Sous inspiration directe du film éponyme de Leos Carax qui offre une ode au mélange des genres, c’est dans cet esprit que le groupe puise dans différentes sources pour inventer ses propres règles et une essence insolite qui ajoute une harpe d’opéra à un corps rock. Cette rencontre inattendue entre chanson à texte française, musique classique contemporaine et noise-pop a été affirmée avec un premier album, “Des Corps dans le Décor”, paru en avril 2022. En 2024, Mauvais Sang annonce la sortie du Single "Seine", deux EP et un album pour début 2025.

[EN] "Mauvais Sang" is a collision between the saturated sound of guitars (Mathis Saunier) and bass (Louis Dégrois) that fearlessly explore every avenue, the grandeur of the harp (Anouck Bizon), supported by a tense drum (Antoine Vercellotti), and embellished by a poetic voice, sometimes rhythmic, sometimes with dreamy softness (Léo Simond). Drawing direct inspiration from Leos Carax's eponymous film, which offers an ode to the blending of genres, it is in this spirit that the group draws from different sources to invent its own rules and an unusual essence that adds an opera harp to a rock body. This unexpected encounter between French lyricism, contemporary classical music, and noise-pop was affirmed with a debut album, "Des Corps dans le Décor," released in April 2022.
In 2024, Mauvais Sang announces the release of the single "Seine," two EPs, and an album for early 2025.
